happy puso day

as the day is ending, i reflect upon how my day went.

woke up to valentine greetings on viber from close friends... i jokingly reply "ano yun? di kami magkilala ni valentine's day." and as i gaze outside my window, mesmerized a little by the falling snow, i tell them i have a date with this guy...

and so i did. sortof. hello, atom! legends of tomorrow, anyone?

as i already went to church yesterday, i didn't have to go outside to brave the cold. i had the whole day to do nothing... and in my opinion, the do-nothing day is one of the best kinds of days.

made soup for lunch...and while i ate it, i scoured twitter for alden&maine updates because let's face it, my lovelife nowadays is me living vicariously through these two.

practiced playing the ukulele a bit.

did two loads of laundry.

finished two fleece blankets.

chatted some more with my friends who were now awake on the other side of the world. 

and now, as i'm listening to forevermore playing in the background while i'm writing this post, i decide that my day wasn't that bad at all.

valentine's day spent with friends albeit virtually, kilig by proxy lovelife, some "me" time, and some productive blanket making for kids... for a day meant for LOVE (of any kind)... not bad, not bad at all. it's all a matter of perspective.

besides, how can you not just smile while that face is in front of you?! ;)
