i don't understand why anybody could ever hate you.

i don't understand why there's so much hate directed towards someone with such a good heart.

i don't understand why because every time i see you, all i ever feel is this love that threatens to overwhelm me.

i feel like i have to write this post...i feel like things are finally turning around for the cardinals, like when this season ends and we look back, tonight...this game is the game we will remember most.

so many things that make me happy in tonight's win.

first, it's against the pirates! it's been frustrating....before tonight, the cardinals have won 1 out of the 6 games they've played against the pirates this season. one! so yeah, it feels pretty good to win another.

second, finally the cards are 5 above 500 and finally the cards are in sole possession of second place in the nl central. if the season were to end today, they'd be playing in the post season via the wildcard. and for the first time, to be quite honest, i feel like we have a real good chance to be in the playoffs. and now that i've said that, i probably jinxed them. *knocks on wood*

third, it's waino with the go-ahead rbi! waino pinch-hitting in the 12th inning! waino! like a kid in a candy store, that's how happy he is right now. that's how happy everyone in the dugout was for him when he hit that double. and that's how happy every cardinals fan is after watching that game. 

see that smile on his face? that's the same smile that's plastered on my face right now.

watch out cubs...the cardinals are coming for you. incidentally, just to make the victory tonight even sweeter, the cubbies lost to the braves. tonight, the best team lost to the worst team in the league! 

am i happy with tonight's game(s)? you bet i am!

ok so my cardinals aren't doing so well this season, and people say no team gets better after may 9th... well, there's still lots of baseball left to play and if they are not giving up, neither am i. go cards!

and just a few blocks down the road of this same town... game 6 tonight... let's go blues!
